We'll use your email to tell you when TailWag opens in your suburb. We'll only send news and offers if you tick the box. Your details are collected by TailWag Group Pty Ltd (ACN 703 225 932, ABN 84 703 225 932), and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Questions

Fair questions.

Is it free?

Yes. Walking, posting, Wag Wars and the boards are free. Memberships come later: Pup at A$12.99 a month and Alpha at A$24.99 a month. They’re optional, and you don’t need one to play.

What’s TestFlight, and is it safe?

TestFlight is Apple’s own app for trying iPhone apps before they reach the App Store. It’s free and made by Apple. Tap Get the beta, install TestFlight, then install TailWag from inside it.

You can delete either app at any time, like any other app.

Is it iPhone only?

For now, yes. You’ll need an iPhone on iOS 17 or later. Android isn’t scheduled yet. Leave your email and we’ll tell you when that changes.

What do you do with my location?

Precise GPS is used while you record a walk (including in the background while the walk is recording), and at the moment you check in to a park or café to confirm you’re there. Your suburb sets which boards you’re on. By default only your friends see that you’re at a park, and they never see your coordinates. Your walk routes stay private unless you choose to post a walk.

We don’t sell your data. You can switch location off any time in iOS Settings. The detail is in our Privacy Policy.

When does it open properly?

TailWag is in public beta now, in Australia only. The App Store release comes after the beta. We haven’t set a date, so we won’t give you one. Leave your email and you’ll hear first.

Can I use it outside Australia?

Not yet. Suburb boards, parks and Wag Wars are built around Australian suburbs, so TailWag is Australia only for now.

Your next walk counts.

Free on iPhone, in public beta across Australia. Two quick installs and you’re walking.
